simple to rewire fixture and install

Great product!...

Not a problem to remove ballast. Replacing mercury filled 40W breakable glass tubes with 18 watt LEDs that have longer life is great.

The phone call to the sales person made a answered all my questions.
The hardest part was removing the old heavy metal fixtures. Then disposing of all the metal reflectors and cords. The installation information made installation fast. The clips for the new light weight fixtures attached to the wall easily. I found It worked best to take the fixture out of the clips to install the tubes. Then I remounted the fixtures with tubes into the clips. The fixtures were ordered with cords and plugs. Plug the the fixtures in and had instant light, much brighter than the fluorescent.
I plan to replace remainder of the fluorescent tubes and fixtures in my studio next.

Lights came quickly, shipped same day. Instillation was slightly confusing till we found a small narrow sticker that had the exact diagram we needed. Lights are a nice bright white to blue, we only installed 4 out of the 6 available in a room they were that bright.

I replaced my kitchen fluorescents with these bulbs and WOW what a difference. I would highly recommend purchasing a new cover to diffuse the light because most old fixtures have covers that have yellowed over time. I replaced mine with a clear one that diffused the light.

I can't give the lights 5 stars because I have no other lights to compare them to. Brilliant white light and an easy to follow installation guide make this a purchase I am happy to report.

I bought four these for my garage, as I needed to replace some of the old fluorescent lamps. Since these are double ended LED lamps, there was no concern on how the original tombstones were wired. The rewiring is simple and straightforward with the instructions provided. These bulbs throw a lot more light then the fluorescents they replaced.

The only concern with these bulbs are the 6000K color temperature. They are very white, but that's OK for garages and such.

I plan on buying more.

This is the second batch I have installed, and I can honestly say without a doubt, this is the easiest to rewire, over most others that are out on the market. Although, for obvious legal reasons, all I have seen tell you to use an electrician to make the wiring changes, but I wouldn't hesitate saying a "do it your-selfer" can get the same results. With this bulb, you do not have to concern yourself wondering if the sockets are shunted and having to take them apart to remove the jumper, or at worse, changing the sockets (aka. Tombstones). With the power off, simply cut all the wires off at the ballast and remove the ballast(s). Take ALL the wires that go to the sockets at one end of the fixture, remove the insulation from the wires, twist them together and connect them to either of the 2 wires that supply the power to the fixture and secure them with a wire connector (aka wire nut). Depending where the supply enters the fixture, you may need to add a piece of wire to one or both of the supplies to reach the wires to the socket. Same with the other side, remove the insulation, twist them together and connect them to the remaining supply wire with a wire connector. re-check to make sure the wire connectors you installed are tight, all the wires are connected, and there are no 'bare' wire showing. If you see a little copper, tape with electricians tape, since the heat generated is not enough to loosen the tape.

Very please with the brightness of the tube, the ease of purchase and the delivery.

I applaud all from the ruggedness of the packaging, easiest to rewire, and brightness of the light. I had fixtures with a diffuser, so I thought it best to get the unfrosted bulbs. I had a minor concern,although ordering 16 bulbs helped me with a workaround. I noticed that the color of light seemed to vary a bit, even though the bulbs were rated at 6000K. They appeared that the mfg seemed to vary the bulbs between possibly 5000K and 6000K. The first 2 I installed were noticeable, so I paired up 2 the same color. By the time I was done, they were balanced and looking great. I am ordering another batch this week for other clients and hope to continue with this company and brand.

I was pleased with the ease of install; I have tried another brand and I had to replace the tombstones.
It was not the case with these.
I installed these in the data room at my work and placed two of the 4ft LED tubes in place of 3 T8 fluorescent tubes easy install and more than enough light.
